Yes. Basic is a trimmed-down free tier for trying InkRider and learning the workflow—including evaluation inside a company before you buy seats. It is not licensed for commercial client work, revenue-generating deliverables, or ongoing business use. Move to Pro or Team when InkRider becomes part of how you work.

Can someone at my company use Basic to evaluate InkRider?

Yes, for evaluation and learning the product. Basic is not meant for production commercial workflows, client deliverables, or day-to-day business use on paid work. When InkRider is part of regular work, use Pro (individual) or Team (multiple seats).

What is the difference between JupyterLite and an external Jupyter Server?

Accepted Answer

JupyterLite runs entirely in your browser with no additional setup. It is the fastest way to get started. As such, however, it comes with limited system access and package availability. An external Jupyter Server (available on Pro and above) lets you connect to your own Python environment (e.g., conda environments, virtual environments), gives you full access to the Python standard library and popular libraries (via pip), and allows access to local files, company data sources, or GPU-enabled machines.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Who handles checkout and billing?

Accepted Answer

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for InkRider paid subscriptions. They handle checkout, tax and VAT collection where applicable, invoicing, renewals, and the hosted billing portal. InkRider stores the account and subscription state it needs to provision access and support the customer, but not full payment card details.

Do listed prices include VAT or sales tax?

Accepted Answer

No. Our listed prices exclude VAT and similar indirect taxes since these depend on the billing country. Lemon Squeezy calculates and adds the required tax during checkout based on the billing country.

Where do I manage renewals, invoices, or payment details?

Accepted Answer

Signed-in customers can use the billing portal link from the subscription page. If the portal link is missing or you need account-specific help, contact support and we will route you to the correct Lemon Squeezy billing portal.

Question 8

How do introductory offers work?

Accepted Answer

From time to time InkRider runs limited-time introductory rates on eligible paid plans (for example, a percentage discount for the first few months). When an offer is active, the pricing page shows the promotional rate and terms. Eligible discounts are applied at Lemon Squeezy checkout, either automatically or via a voucher link, and revert to the standard monthly price after the introductory period shown in checkout and your billing portal.
